Responsibilities

Are you a tech-savvy QA professional with a passion for financial systems? We're looking for software QA Analysts who are excited to work in a dynamic, remote, Agile team environment. As a key member of our growing team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with internal clients and test a variety of new systems while also helping to test and improve legacy ones.

If you're intellectually curious, have excellent testing and analytical skills, and are a great communicator, we want you to join us in testing and maintaining cutting-edge software that makes a real impact on our credit union members. You'll have the chance to be bold, take ownership of assignments, and help bring them to life while honing your quality assurance tester skills.

The Software QA Analyst is responsible for manual and automated testing efforts to ensure high quality and a seamless user experience. The ideal candidate will have critical thinking ability, learning skills, strong communication and problem-solving skills, be a team player, have excellent time management skills, a flexible working approach, and attention to detail. Software QA Analyst will work with new and existing applications and technical processes that integrate with Grow Financial’s core Jack Henry platform, Symitar.

Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor of Arts/Science from an accredited university in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in manual software testing and quality assurance with MS Windows and web apps required.
• Knowledge of unit, functional, integration, regression testing techniques and best practices required.
• 1-2 years of credit union or financial institution experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Familiarity with bug and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, ServiceNow, Kace, Leankit, etc.).
• Additional skills in Jack Henry Symitar, Symitar PowerOn programming language, test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., MS DevOps/Test Plans, Selenium, Testrail, PowerShell, .Net C#, JavaScript, HTML, SQL) helpful.
